My Inner Emeril Legasse

So the school wanted me to have the students make "Chocolate Marshmallow Men" for the students and take pictures so we could put up in the classroom. At first I was like, "You really don't want me cooking around children...", but it didn't really end up being cooking; more watching chocolate melt.

They gave me the supplies, of which were all in Chinese, except for the blessed universal brand of M&M's, and pretty much left me alone to do it.

The kids drew this on a piece of paper while we were waiting for the chocolate to melt.

Supplies.

Chinese marshmallows.

The students.
In the back of the class you can see the two levels for nap time. Some sleep below and some sleep above.

The portable gas stove.

Winnie waiting for her turn.

...one of these things doesn't fit.

We only had time to make one marshmallow and not the whole marshmallow man.
This is Joan. (like jo-anne)

Ashlee.

Wayne.

Me.

Overall it was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed it. And I'm glad it was at the end of the day so the kids could be hyper from all that sugar at home instead of at school.

Also...

...it has been raining nonstop for a week.

My Winnie, at Unitech, said if you need anything in Taiwan, you can ask me to ask her. Do you?
